Bird of paradise is a species of Paradisaea rubra. Burunf paradise have colorful feathers, bird of paradise yellow and brown, has a yellow beak. Adult male birds of paradise feathers have a blood-red ornament with a white tip on the side of his stomach, face fur a dark emerald green and there are two fur diekornya like a long string of double helical-shaped black. Female birds are smaller than male birds of paradise, with dark brown face and did not have feathers hiasan.dan very beautiful, birds of paradise are found in eastern Indonesia, located in Papua New Guinea. The World Body Painting Festival 2007

Every year the world’s leading body artists gather at the World Body Painting Festival to compete for the coveted title of World Champion. The competition takes place over three days and 2007 saw 120 artists from more than forty countries paint their models in a series of themes chosen by the championship organisers. This year, artists were given the themes “The Year 2525” and “Chaos and Control” and had to create a unique design to impress a panel of experienced international judges.

The judges award points to each artist based on the originality of their interpretation of the theme, the painting techniques used, choice of colours and the degree of complexity of realising their design. Points from each days painting are accumulated for each artist’s final score.

This 2007 competition was held during the 20th - 22nd July and Carolyn painted with good friend and fellow artist Carly Utting. After 6 hours of painting on Day 1 of the competition, they were thrilled to be in first place. The pressure was really on for the Finals Day and after another 6 hours of painting they fought off tough opposition from America, Canada and Germany to maintain their first place and clinch the title of “World Body Painting Champions, 2007”.
